IPE, durable and long lasting wood furniture that is very strong, weather resistant and perfect for outdoor table tops.

• IPE also known as “Brazilian Walnut” is an extremely dense wood according to the Janka Rating
  (See the chart below under Janka Rating)

• The IPE will start to absorb the WOCA oil right after it is applied and will need to be reapplied. The time frame of the oil absorption into the IPE will vary. WOCA oil will be absorbed even while the table is not in use. We recommend purchasing WOCA to have on hand before your tables arrive.

• IPE will grey over time depending on how much direct sunlight and use the tops get. To keep the natural red/brown look, an oil will need to be applied periodically. This is a product that will need to be maintained or you will see stains and water marks. To remove these and bring your table back to life, please see cleaning and care instructions below.
